The Light of the Shadow Both Light and Shadow are the Dance of Love ~ Rumi No-thing can cast a shadow. If there is nothing there, no shadow. In other words, non-duality has no thing(s). In the beginning was the Light. And the Light was without form. No form. No-thing. Although this is very abstract languaging … it does give us a glimpse about the nature of consciousness without form or shadow. Then we jump into duality. With the metaphorical … Big Bang. Finding the Divine Within We are all on a journey. Each one is unique. Yet the destination is always the same. Each and every one of us has a unique story. A unique purpose. There is a propensity to life. We, as humans, tend to live in patterned behavior. Karma, by its very nature, implies conditioned response. A karmic propensity. Yet there is something else that is riding along with us on our journey. And that is the truth. The truth of who we are. We chose to forget. We chose to go into the darkness, letting go of knowing who we really are. The darkness has a gift for us. The struggles of our past have a wonderful benefit. And that is because we, our egos, feel Joy when we move closer to our truth … when we move closer to the Light within us now. The journey home…

We could say that Love is the fabric of the universe. Certainly there are substantial grounds for such dialogue. But when we look through our human eyes, we can see evidence of something else. Yet the mystics and sages of the past talk about One Mind. The notion that there is only one mind in all of creation. The idea that we are all part of the one consciousness of God/Goddess. So which one is it? Do our eyes deceive us? IS the pain and suffering we see something other than Love itself? The notion of unconditional Love holds the answer.
