Karma, itself, has no motive or agenda

It’s all You who decides your karmic experience

Gravity, itself, doesn’t care if you stand up or fall down. The gravity isn’t biased either way. It is you that decides your relationship with gravity.

Likewise, karma, itself, doesn’t care if you “get it” or not. The mechanisms of karma are as impersonal as the mechanism of gravity.

You decide it all. All.

I would say that the lion’s share of most people’s karma is related to their mental and emotional karmic stigmas, even though those mental and emotional karmic mechanisms are really timeless. We would do well to (start) teaching these basic karmic lessons in perhaps middle school. Right before the teen goes through puberty.

I know I wasn’t taught anything useful about karma in my academic upbringing. I learned the hard way. Being ignorant of my own karmic tendencies, I spent decades accumulating more and more karmic energy in my subconscious. I didn’t have a clue that I was increasing my karmic posturing pretty much every day of my life. Until the metaphorical cosmic two-by-four (a long wooden board) cracked me open. My karma wasn’t trying to hide from me. I just didn’t know how to understand it in my own experience(s).

What I find fascinating is how some of our most important soul contracts that we have with other people in our own life are based on karmic posturing. Often mental and emotional karmic posturing.

When you are going through your karmic relationships, you can often (falsely) make it about the other person. They are doing this or they are doing that “to” us, and that is what is creating our own life experience. If they would just change, then our life experience would be “corrected.” Not so. No thing outside of us has a built-in karmic stature or posture. We assign the elements of our life to their own karmic stature.

When I had a difficult boss, I could easily “blame” my experience on him. He is the “jerk.” If he would just stop being a jerk, then I would have a better experience. But, in truth, it was my own karma that was taking his impersonal behavior, and I was re-acting to it based on my own karmic imprinting. It turned out, it would be me that changed my experience of him. I was the one deciding my karma with him.

It is clear to me, in hindsight, that he was a very important soul contract I had in this lifetime. He would be the one to crack me open. By his tyrant behavior, he was stirring up my unresolved subconscious karmic imprinting. He did this daily for over a decade. He would stir up my karma. His behavior had an intense effect on me because of … me. Once I connected with my karmic stigmas, his effect on me collapsed into nothing. I was the keeper of my own “suffering.” He wasn’t deciding anything about how I experienced him. It was me.

If you have difficult people (lessons) in your life, don’t try to “fix” them. Fix you.

To learn the simple yet very impactful nature of karma, is to take full ownership and responsibility of how your are experiencing your own life. You decide it all. Nobody else can decide how you experience your karma but you.

Your (impersonal) karma is your (impersonal) lesson(s). Every day, life presents us with a karmic classroom in which we can learn about our own karma.

Love You!
