Surfing the Karmic Tsunami Catch the Wave! This is a most fantastic time to be alive. To be here on Earth now affords opportunities that, perhaps, have never existed in the history of history. At least in the understanding of the collective consciousness, and how it is programmed. Can you see a tug-of-war, so to speak, for the collective mindset? Why is there such a torrent of effort to have sway in what you think? The collective consciousness of humanity is the creator of our collective future. Which affords opportunities for massive profits. Yet Nature is never in it for “the money.” As we re-constitute our Soul, we enter the easier realms. In other words, we entered more difficult “terrain” when we fragmented ourselves. Harmony is the key to “seeing” the natural design of life. What are the narrative(s) that you are choosing? What narratives, that the collective consciousness is…

Your Happiness and Your Sorrow It is all up to You Your mind is the beginning, and the end, of your happiness and your sorrow. It is a most curious thing. Our mind/ego is the decider. Well … kind of. How many people have created a vision board, and religiously chanted their daily affirmations, only to find that years later … nothing (of significance) has changed? If those things, affirmations and vision boards, are the creation and intent of the mind/ego, how can I say that the mind/ego is the decider? We take on karma when we posture with what is. That posturing is initiated by the mind/ego. At least, most of the time. There are times when the mind/ego doesn’t get to decide. For example, a young soldier going into battle for the first time. The shock and horror of carnage can trigger the body to protect itself. It…

Connecting with your Higher Self Your Ego doesn’t know it all How is your life going? So far so good? Perfect. Wait, what? What if you answered that your life was not so good? Perhaps you feel like you have been through the proverbial ringer. Enough! Life has a way about it. The sage and the psychopath are both swimming in the same “sea.” The same world. So what gives? Nobody has the same karma as you do. Not the exact same karma. Your life path(s), through this lifetime and all the lifetimes before this one, has created … well … you. The more I have studied this human experience, I have found that we have several core factors that contribute a lot to how we see ourselves. The ego, our emotions, and our Higher Self or Soul. The first two, our ego and our emotions, are where most of…

What are You waiting for? What? Are we there yet? There is the notion that a goldfish will grow to match the container in which it is kept. Keep a small goldfish in a small bowl, and it will stay small. Move it to a bigger bowl, and it will grow in size accordingly. Our egos can behave the same way. Is your ego enjoying your life? Is your heart enjoying your ego? So many of us are drowning in the mundane. We have rationalized ourselves into an unfulfilling life. Our life in our fast brain, has no real room for the desires of our heart. Our ego, from moment to moment, categorizes all that is happening to us. Putting everything in its “appropriate” box. Our egos are symbol processors. Our egos process symbols. Symbols. Symbols are not anyTHING, really. Symbols are … well, symbols, that represent something else. Write…

Where is Your Sense of Self? Who do you think you are? So let’s mangle “reality” a bit. Shall we? So, if we asked one thousand people to answer a few questions … Say like, is the world safe or is it dangerous? Is life happening to you, or can you change anything about your life? Is Love easy or hard? Does God hold my salvation? The questions, per se, are not the information we are looking for. But rather, the answers. As we would, metaphorically, read through the results, we could soon see that there are thousands of different viewpoints, attitudes and beliefs, all being experiences … by an ego. One by one. Each “reality” unique yet very “real.” So, how about your ego? Let’s take a jump back, to the day you were born. Just a newborn little baby. Ohhh my … nice butt! On this “birth”day ……

Life in the Fast Brain What is the role of the ego? There are many, many spiritual gurus that think the ego is to be reduced or shrunk to be as small as possible. Some even use the term to kill the ego. But something doesn’t add up with that stance. Sure, indeed, the ego can be the source of so much suffering. The ego can be a significant contributor to our karmic dysfunction. The undisciplined ego is indeed something we would want to heal and teach, if we are wanting to fulfill our true Divine potentials. But riddle me this. If indeed the ego “runs” on the framework of our mind, and we are only using 10% of our mind, then as we activate more and more of our mind, or mental horsepower, then the “engine” our ego is running on becomes much more powerful. Based on the idea…

Out with the Old … In with the New Shifting into the New Year The winds of change are upon us. Nobody has to be told that the world is changing. Humanity is going  though more change(s) than perhaps any time in our history. And here we are. So, what’s it going to be? There is a bit of an opportunity here. If, metaphorically, everything has been turned on its head, then you too can completely redesign yourself. (You always can.) But the notion I want to look at closer is your authentic preferences. You really didn’t have an ego, to speak of, the day you were born. No sentencing, no preferences, per se. And it was in your family of origin that your ego was created. Your ego, by its very nature, is a creature of habits or patterns. You could say we installed a groundwork of habits and…

You can’t exhaust the (quantum) mirror Every reflection has the same merit How do you “burden” a mirror? I mean, really, it just reflects other things. No matter how big. Any image a mirror reflects, has the same “merit” as any other image. I have been using the metaphor of a mirror a lot lately. It fits so well. It fits the nature of how we create our “reality.” Is the world “safe” or “dangerous?” Your belief, an internal attribute, will decide this for you. It is done unto you as you believe. Our beliefs are an inside job. And yet, they “decide” how we experience the world outside of us. The world outside of us is a reflection of (the inside of) us. Are you karma’s b*tch? Is karma happening to you? Or is your karma a reflection of you? Is karma an inside job? One of the, perhaps,…

The Natural Cycles of Life … inhale … exhale … repeat Nature is never finished. You are that nature expressing (it/your)self. We are seeing the “first light.” That first glimpse of the New Human. For eons of time, humanity has been in a very repetitive cycle of sorts. Here on Planet Earth, humanity has loaded up its psyche with so much karmic imprinting. This karmic momentum has kept us in very small narratives. The tendency is that the more karma you have, the narrower your narrative. In a sense, our egos really like this. In the sense that everything is much more predictable, and therefore, “safer.” The unknown is just too big of a risk. The Divine Feminine IS the unknown. The undefined. The Divine Masculine is the known, the physical, the well-defined. We have lived within a gigantic ego overdose, you might say. Or perhaps, a testosterone overdose. And now the pendulum swings the…

This too … will pass There are no permanent markers We are never stuck. We are (eternally) free. It just doesn’t seem that way when we are marching on a linear timeline. There have been many people sharing with me lately how their life is in despair. But this too … will pass. There is nothing that can impede our journey, at least not forever. It might seem a little silly, but we get a “master reset” when we transition. If you lost a leg, in a previous life from perhaps a WWI mishap, poof, you get a new one in this life. How cool is THAT? The idea that when the ego tires of the back-to-back challenges of this life and takes on a “this life is finished” attitude, is a short-term temporal notion. There  is ALWAYS another lesson. Another chapter of sorts in your life. But to be…

Can You Reset Yourself? So many narratives … so little time How many triggers do you have? Are you easily offended? How do you react to completely contrary points of view? If your life gets turned on its head, how long does it take to re-adjust to what is? Could you go back through your life and look at every decision you have ever made, and decide, with each and every one, if they were “right” or “wrong?” Are you a writer? a dancer? a poet? a Diva? an architect? a singer? a doctor? a healer? an artist? a sage? a mystic? a … fill in the [   ]. Can you decide, in this moment, which one(s) of those you “are” … or “are not?” I never saw myself as a writer. In fact, my ego argued with my heart and soul for about six years. In those first moments…
