What are You waiting for? What? Are we there yet? There is the notion that a goldfish will grow to match the container in which it is kept. Keep a small goldfish in a small bowl, and it will stay small. Move it to a bigger bowl, and it will grow in size accordingly. Our egos can behave the same way. Is your ego enjoying your life? Is your heart enjoying your ego? So many of us are drowning in the mundane. We have rationalized ourselves into an unfulfilling life. Our life in our fast brain, has no real room for the desires of our heart. Our ego, from moment to moment, categorizes all that is happening to us. Putting everything in its “appropriate” box. Play the hand you have been dealt Blossom where you are planted I find it quite curious how some of the most powerful people I have interviewed have had some of the toughest life lessons. There is a notion that says our Soul chooses our life path, at least initially, before we incarnate. A theme, if you will, for our life. With, perhaps, a primary theme, and then, perhaps, multiple secondary themes. A primary theme might be to learn how to hold compassion for another. Or perhaps forgiveness. And then we are born. Wishing for the Way Things Were? Wishing on a memory Where did the “normal” go? We had a “normal” way back in 2019. Wishing that things become the way they were can be counterproductive. During the podcast Wednesday night, we discussed the different ways our Soul can “get our attention.” Often resorting to the proverbial cosmic two-by-four. When our Soul wants change in our life, it might serve us to follow our Soul’s inspiration so our Soul doesn’t have to resort to more drastic measures to get our attention. The Hand in the Glove Get a Grip When we look at the journey of the Soul, we can see some aspects of the journey that can help us get our bearings. Get a clearer understanding of “where we are going.” You might say we start the journey out as Soul. Living by the wisdom of our Soul, in the sense that the ego doesn’t have much say or sway in our psyche. You might say that the journey into the shadow or darkness, is the shifting of our Soul consciousness, into  our ego. Pray to a BIG God Don’t hang with the lesser gods. I pray to a Big God, because I kneel in a Big Church. ~ Peter Gabriel With some simple math, it could be easily estimated that billions of prayers have been prayed, to the BIG Guy, to end the suffering on this planet. And no God shows up. No glowing Orb descends from the Heavens. No Deity waves a magic wand. No Savior(s) to save us. Follow the Yellow Brick Road There IS a path for You All roads lead to Rome. Or so they say. I find it very curious how our ego has the final say. At least, until it takes a cosmic two-by-four to get our attention. It is quite evident that the vast majority of the collective consciousness is “suffering” from ego overdose. We can choose anything we want. Our thoughts have no tether, except the conditioning from our past. In other words, there is no Divine strong arm that will force us to make one decision or another.
