It gets easier … if you engage You always have free will I understand not everyone knows about snow skiing. But there is a bit of a dichotomy behind getting good at it. When you first put on the skis, you feel very clumsy. It is difficult to move around at all. And then add trying to go down even a small hill … the tendency is to lean back. Why would you lean forward when you feel like you have no control? Yet, that is when you gain control. The skiing becomes easier (eventually ;- ) once you learn to lean into it. Once you get the knack of it, you can easily ski wherever you want on the ski slope. The skis are designed in such a way that when you lean forward, that is when the ability to control where you are going gets much easier. But…
What would make You feel “Better”? Is there a feeling you are looking for? There is a bit of a back and forth. Once we get (more) focused on what we want. As part of the “awakening” process, you start paying more attention to your thoughts and feelings. You start to discern what you prefer, and what you don’t prefer. You start to “mind.” You start to pay attention to how you feel, doing those things that, perhaps, you have always done. To discover our subconscious habits that we have instilled in ourselves, we need to stretch ourselves. If we always avoid bad feelings, we are actually accumulating the karmic energy behind them. If we don’t ever get to the point of actually feeling them, they are taking more of a proverbial hold on us. It isn’t like we have to feel our bad feeling all the time, like it…
Riding the Escalator to Nirvana Everything you seek … is within you now There is a shift that happens. That can change everything about how you live your life. On one hand, we can live in our heads. Where our ego is driving the boat. This is an extremely common modality. I have certainly spent many years there. But there is another way to live. One that changes everything. And that is living from the inside out. Where you tune in to the inspiration of your heart and soul. There is a curious thing that happens. At first, it doesn’t seem like much. I feel that the reason it doesn’t really “satisfy” the ego so much, is that we are barely making ourselves available. Where our ego isn’t really fully committed to the inspirations. But rather, has an attitude of .. we could try it once. The vision of what our life could be, is but…
big T LITTLE t … what’s the Truth? Some “truths” are not the Big truth Is the world safe? Or is it dangerous? Which one is the “real” truth? To answer that question you could consider where people lived. If you lived on a large homestead in the middle of nowhere, you might say that the world is pretty safe. Whereas if you lived in a violent prison or perhaps a rough neighborhood, you could say life is dangerous. And both of you would be “correct.” A subjective truth. Can you walk on water? Ever? Jesus has told us that we will do everything that he has done … and more. Truth with a big ‘T’ is a very small pond. Whereas truth with a little ‘t’ is a huge ocean. It is done unto you as you believe. The “active” ingredient in a placebo … isn’t a thing. It…
Swept Away in the Karmic Current Where did you go? There is a bit of dichotomy when it comes to karma. On one hand, you could easily think of karma as density. Or, perhaps, viscosity. If we think of the density aspect, we could see those who have loaded up their psyche with karma, as having a very dense energy. They are “heavy” with karma and thus it is very difficult to move (change) where they are. Or perhaps, the viscosity aspect could be thought of as standing in an empty swimming pool. Say, perhaps, the goal is to just walk 20 feet. If the pool is empty, it is an effortless success. Then by adding water (karma) up to the waist, well then, the effort is greater. Then again, imagine the water up to your neck. Perhaps much more energy is needed. But then, let’s even change the viscosity,…
Going Up … Going Down The Evolution of Consciousness From the Light, into the shadow, and then the return to Light. A timeless journey. From the Light. In the beginning … was the Light. And it was without form. There was no duality, or form. If you were to go to the absolute core of yourself, you would find the Light. A non-local field of Source Consciousness. And if I were to do the same, I would find the Light as well. It is not like we would both be there, but rather, there would be no “us” there. We would be One. As I have shared before, my Soul dragged my ego there. To show me the total realm of human consciousness. The Light is beyond the description of words (symbols). You can (kind of) get a sense for this if you were to look at a light bulb,…
When Your Ego Finds Your Soul Where are You going? For the vast majority of people, they live their lives in their heads. In their egos. It can feel quite comfortable there. You choose what you want. It can seem like you have a good handle on your life. Perhaps a very manageable existence. Your ego is managing … everything out there. The car, the house, the job. It can seem like everything is under (the ego’s) control. (But) Everything happens energetically first. In other words, the field of creation, the birthplace of all change, does not have a physical form. It is undetectable by our five senses. If you were to go visit a (good) psychic, they would be reading the energy of what you are about to manifest. It doesn’t mean that it is a done deal. It doesn’t become “reality” until the atoms move. Until it shows…
What good can you harvest from your shadow? Both Light and Shadow … are the Dance of Love. ~ Rumi There is a momentum that is created by the untrained ego. An accumulation of “programming” that will install itself if we are not careful. Fast forward a few decades, and we can find ourselves very stuck in a sense of normalcy. There is nothing wrong here. If you want … more of the same. Normal, by its very nature, means more of the same. Normal won’t “fix” anything. I want to hang with the abby-normal folks. I want to explore the not-normal aspects of life. For it is there, where we will find the “new” outcomes. The new narratives. The new possibilities. Groovy man. Far out! Did you guess what we will look at next? We will look at the shadow side of a entire culture. In the 60’s and…
Shedding Your Past Once the lessons are learned You are free. There is a momentum that karma can bring into our lives. Like a wave coming onto shore. It is the result(s) of unresolved energies within our own personal energy persona. Yet, we are never stuck. Ever. As a timeless Soul, we always have another moment … another now. There is a notion, that is anchored in 3D thinking. My past is part of who I am. Well, sure … well, maybe … well, no. Not really. OK, it can be “true” in this moment, but it isn’t cast in concrete. This may seem like it is baloney. If it happened, well then, it happened. Right? Yes, and no. We are a collage of energies that we have (karmically) accumulated over our many lifetimes. These energies create a momentum of sorts. In that, until we release and cleanse the energies…
If I do your homework for you … you will never… You chose to come here at this time Imagine, if you will, if you never got past gravity. What I mean is that you never learned how to walk. To stand upright. To run, skip or dance. Gravity didn’t care about the outcome. You could have chosen either way. Karma is a lot like that too. The principles of karma are timeless. Timeless and impersonal. Just think about it … there are over seven billion variations of karma playing out on the planet right now. Seven billion people, each with their own unique karmic disposition. And karma, as a whole, doesn’t care how any of it turns out. Karma, by its very nature, has a momentum to it. A propensity, if you will. A probability that a particular type of outcome will play out. You might think of karma…
