Irons in the Fire

What do you intend to happen?

We are always engaged in the process of creation. We, right now, are creating our future. Whether you like it or not, the creation process is always on. 24/7/365. Without end. You are tending to, either consciously or subconsciously, creating your life, really.

What are you consciously intending? Graduate from college? Get married? Write a book? Make more money? Fall in love? What are yours?

These are what you are intending to happen. These are metaphorical “Irons in the Fire.” Like a blacksmith, making what he is making. You get the iron hot, by keeping it in the fire, then you pull it out and sculpt it. You shape it. You forge it into what you intend it to be. An Iron in the Fire reflects an intention. Something you are working on. Something you are making happen in your life.

So then, what are your subconscious Irons in the Fire? What is your subconscious intending to happen? Or maybe even a bigger question, what is your subconscious intending not to happen? People can win the lottery, becoming “set for life,” or so they think. Only to find out they can’t sustain the lifestyle. There is a baseline of sorts, and baselines are always a pause in your potentials. You can think of your baseline, a metaphor as to what your life is like right now, as what is “normal” for you. Do you buy lottery tickets? Or do you avoid them? Do you order dessert after dinner? Or are you watching your weight? There tends to be a baseline in who we are. A “normal” behavior for us to always choose. But the thing is … normal is never part of the ingredients to change. Normal, by its very nature, means more of the same. What “normally” happens.

If you were to magically fix your metaphorical wand, and thus you could then manifest anything you wanted in the very moment you wanted it, you would have to start thinking about what you want … now. I want to get married. Poof! You are married. I want to make more money. Poof! You make more money. I want a chocolate fountain in the kitchen. Poof! You have a chocolate fountain in the kitchen. Now what? NOW WHAT?

The process of creation is happening all of the time. How much of your life are you consciously tending to? If you were to list the current “irons” you have in the fire of intended creation, what would they be? What are you intending to create in your life today? Your consciousness is your metaphorical wand. To become more intentional with your thoughts is to more fully empower your ability to create what you prefer. Meditation is a great way to get more intentional with your thoughts and thus intentions.

As you grow yourself spiritually, you hone your awareness. You hone your thoughts. You tend to the irons you have in your metaphorical foundry of creation. And you tend to add more irons in the fire. Not to make yourself more busy, but rather, to better tend to what your heart and soul intend for your life. And it gets easier. What would your heart and soul prefer to have in your fire of conscious intentions? For myself, it took me a long time to listen. And even longer to act. As I have shared many times, my inspiration, from my heart and soul, wanted me to add metaphorical irons to the fire. “Write a book.” “Start a podcast.” These are irons that I, as my mind/ego, never would have chosen by myself. Yet my soul intended these things before I was even born.

I am certain there are more irons intended for the fire. In other words, I know my soul has more new directions in my life. New intentions and thus new outcomes in my life. When the new inspirations show up, I put them in the metaphorical fire of my creation. The more I become aware of this process, the more my life expands. It expands out of the confines of my previous “normal.” I am created anew. I birth new aspects of myself. And this expands my experience of life itself. Consciousness always seeks expansion. As does Love. The “game of life” is calling us to show up for ourselves.

What is your heart, and soul, intending for your life?

Love You
