Feel the Rain From a drizzle to a downpour Have you ever been caught in the rain? I mean really drenched? Oh what a feeling! Have you ever been devastated by your emotions and feelings? Brought to your knees? Wiped out? If you don’t feel your feelings, when they are (rather) mild, like a drizzle, you will feel them later like a torrential downpour. We get ourselves stuck with our feelings and emotions when we start to posture with them. When we start to suppress them. When we start to avoid them. But perhaps the biggest karmic influence our emotions can have, is when we don’t even know the (subconscious) posture we have with them. Then we tend to accumulate more and more karmic energy within us. We tend to collapse our lives into deeper and deeper troughs of preferences. Avoiding whole arenas of options, choices, and thus outcomes. Collapsing…

If Consciousness were Your Currency Where are you “spending” your thoughts? Our ego requires linear thinking. Our ego processes symbols. Our ego assigns “value” to these symbols. The symbols that are not the actual thing. Symbols are a marker or reference to something … else. Your heart and soul don’t require symbols. They are a non-linear based intelligence. Yet, for so many of us, we “spend” most or all of our time immersed in linear thinking. In our minds. Life in the Fast Brain. The snag is … the ego wants the meaning of the past, to be used to interpret the “new” reality being born in each moment. In other words, the world you “see” now is interpreted by the symbols, and thus the values, of the past. So, if a magic spaceship arrived, and took you on a journey through time, into the future, what could you “see?” Perhaps…

World’s Largest Ball of Yarn Don’t forget to EnJoy the Journey The journey is the “reason.” There is no finish line. We are here for the human experience. The experience of the journey. What does it feel like to … [Insert experience(s) here]. Even the “bad” ones. The “landscape” of this journey (called life) is how we feel. How we are experiencing our lives. It can be our emotions, or perhaps the awe of our ego seeing something that is overwhelmingly beautiful. The passion flowing through us as we engage our heart’s desires. It can be a bit of a challenge to sharpen our focus when there is so much change going on in our lives and in the collective. There are times when we are actually shifting our own life-purpose in our life. I was a television engineer, and my heart told me to start writing books. Huh? Books?…

Filling the Void What will go in its place? Do you remember a wonderful time in your life? Perhaps it was a wonderful past relationship? Or maybe a challenging job that you loved? And then something changed. There was a loss of sorts. Where that wonderful situation ended. For whatever reason. Leaving a void in its place. Like how the 2020 karmic tsunami changed everything. We might have been living high on the hog in 2019 … but then something happened. We can have a longing to return to that time, that circumstance, that was so nice. We can have a longing within us for a repeat performance. I want THAT again. But Nature, by its very nature, doesn’t copy itself. At least, not on purpose. There is nothing wrong to want whatever you want. But we can come up short, not because of what has happened, but how we…
