Octaves of Wisdom Where are you operating from? How do you make the choices that you make, as you go about your day? It can seem that we are making our decisions based on what is happening outside of us. I want that. I don’t want that. That being that thing or opportunity outside of us. And there is certainly a merit to that. Sure, we are observing “this” and “that” outside of us. The thing is, we are actually basing a lot of wisdom, the wisdom behind our choices, on what is going on inside of us. There is a metaphorical structure to our consciousness. Karma In Karma Out The Journey of the Soul Karma is impersonal and indifferent. Just like gravity is. There is a phrase that seems applicable here. The Journey of the Soul. Think about a brand new Soul as a lightbulb that is turned on. Shining bright. As Souls come from Source Consciousness or God Consciousness. In the beginning was the Light. That statement, perhaps, could refer to the composition of a brand new Soul. Light. A new Soul has no human experience until it incarnates for the first time. Without any experience(s), it has no known preferences. Preferences that are decided by an experience. Sometimes those experiences are too much. Where we feel overwhelmed. The Only way Out … is In. Where you are going, you are already there. Perhaps we are on our “spiritual journey.” Where we have decided that we want to grow ourselves spiritually. We might think that that direction is always metaphorically “up.” To ascend into Heaven. But wait a minute. “Grow ourselves spiritually?” Wouldn’t that, metaphorically, be down? So, what if we were brand-new Souls? Never having ever had a physical experience. Never having incarnated anywhere or any when. In a way, we have already arrived. In other words, perhaps the spiritual journey is into the darkness. Perhaps it is into the shadow. Your Free-Will will always approve Your request. What shall it be? You are never stuck. It, perhaps, is just the opposite. Not that you are stuck, but perhaps you just don’t know. Not knowing all of the things you could choose. We tend to stop dreaming when we have difficulty manifesting what we would prefer. Karmic momentum has a way of shutting us down. Not forever, but long enough for us to become complacent with where we are. Complacent with our life condition. It is totally understandable. The Cloaking of our Karma Who doesn’t have karma? Anyone? I have a favor to ask. Can you please take a picture of gravity, gravity itself, and circle it in the picture? And send that to me? For that matter, add one of electricity too. The bright light that lightening makes is photons, not the electricity itself. We can’t see gravity or electricity. But we can see their effect. So then. Karma. Imagine taking a picture of a homeless vet, panhandling on the corner. Could you “see” the karma itself in the picture? Or, like the other examples, only the effect? If Consciousness were your Currency How are You spending Your Consciousness? Spending our consciousness. Spending our attention. Each day we wake up and the “spending” begins. Your own Personal Jesus Free at last! Jesus doesn’t want to save you. God is not “coming” either. You came here for the human experience. You CAME here of your own free will. You chose to have these experiences. God won’t “grant” you enlightenment. Even if you ask nicely. Well, OK, technically you are enlightened now. There is nothing to be added to you, to your psyche, that will give you enlightenment. The separation of your enlightened consciousness, and your ego, is what makes it seem like you are not enlightened right now. But, again, you chose to get where you are.
