Your Mind, Heart and Soul Who are You? So, if you were to be handed a copy of all of your thoughts over the last 24 hours, and they were indexed by “who” had had them, who would be you? In other words, if you were to get a clear report, showing you how much of your thoughts had come from your mind/ego, and your heart and your soul, what kind of ratios would you see? A very common behavioral trait of human beings is that they live mostly in their mind. Mostly, isn’t really fair. Completely in their minds might be a better analogy. We, in general, are completely overdosing on our egos. Our hearts, once healed and open, would never wage war on another. Our soul would not have any need for the “white picket fence” idea of living our life. The notion that you go to “school,”…

Every day is Election day You vote with your attention Today, you are “voting” on your tomorrow. The mechanics of creation are “on” all the time. Election day is every day. We have perfectly crafted our lives, up to this minute, this now, from all of our attention from our past, by what we have elected to put our attention on, day after day. The momentum effect, the momentum of our karma, is largely a product of our subconscious. It is really a very graceful thing. It is a mechanism that says … if you haven’t learned the karmic lesson, all of the energy of your refusal to witness, and accept … what is, all of that energy will be pushed into your subconscious. This energy will “contribute” to this now, this moment, until you resolve it. There is the notion of a standing wave. A wave that is present…

The Ever-Evolving You! Without End You are never stuck. Well, unless you think you are. And even then, you can always re-decide. We are souls well-established on our journeys. We have loaded up our psyches with karma from our past. And this karma creates a momentum of sorts. A consistency of sorts in our everyday experiences. A lot of this momentum is found in our subconscious. You can imagine a huge supertanker out in the ocean. Laden with cargo. Riding low in the water. The top speed is quite slow. If this immense amount of mass wanted to just turn around, it might take an hour. And a mile of space in which to do it. Loaded up. Lots of inertia. The last moment similar to this moment. In a lot of ways, this metaphor is similar to ourselves. At least collectively. We have loaded up our psyches with karma.…

What are You waiting for? What? Are we there yet? There is the notion that a goldfish will grow to match the container in which it is kept. Keep a small goldfish in a small bowl, and it will stay small. Move it to a bigger bowl, and it will grow in size accordingly. Our egos can behave the same way. Is your ego enjoying your life? Is your heart enjoying your ego? So many of us are drowning in the mundane. We have rationalized ourselves into an unfulfilling life. Our life in our fast brain, has no real room for the desires of our heart. Our ego, from moment to moment, categorizes all that is happening to us. Putting everything in its “appropriate” box. Our egos are symbol processors. Our egos process symbols. Symbols. Symbols are not anyTHING, really. Symbols are … well, symbols, that represent something else. Write…

Resolving Your Past to Own Your Future It’s all in your hands There is a shift that happens within ourselves, when we choose to evolve. As we intend to grow ourselves spiritually. For many of us, the spiritual path wasn’t always in our life. For some, perhaps it was. But for many of us, we “found” our own innate desire to grow ourselves spiritually. If you were to look over your life, you might notice key events, moments or people, who would end up significantly changing your life’s direction. Some for the “better” and some for the “worse.” It is said that as we evolve our consciousness, we gradually take more and more responsibility for our life. Where we might have “blamed” the past for the reason we are where we are. For myself, I certainly had some very challenging situations in my life. One of these events, that ultimately…

Let’s do the Time Warp (again) It’s Just a Jump to the Left … There is a curious thing about a hologram. There is no where to go. And there is no when to go. Well, kind of. Sure, you are “where you are.” When we think of our spiritual “journey,” we are going … going to the promised land. To the Big E (Enlightenment). To Heaven. To Nirvana. Get out the map. In the quantum realm, there is no time. There is no (other) place. It is a singularity of sorts. Your consciousness now, is a single step away from any where else. From any when else. In other words … there is no “place” or “time” to go. Sort of. Sure, you are “here” now. A bit of mental aerobics, really. But the point is, you can tap, or access, all the other points in the hologram from…

Your Emotions evolve as You evolve There IS a promised land So … do you ever feel stuck? Kind of like … is this all there is? There is a thing about karma … a quagmire of sorts. As we, as timeless souls, load up our psyches with karma … everything slows down. You might even think of it kind of like temperature and water. Niagara Falls is a pretty impressive sight. So many tons of water, crashing on the rocks. But there are photographs of Niagara Falls frozen solid. An immense amount of power … frozen. Held “captive” by the cold temperature. That is kind of like our karma. Zap! Poof! Zang! Ka-Powee! When we completely cleanse our karma, out of our timeless persona, we will manifest in the moment. Jesus could manifest things out of thin air, in the moment. A very powerful persona. And he promised that…

Look again … with fresh eyes Both light and shadow are the dance of Love. ~ Rumi As you evolve your consciousness, you can re-evaluate your past. There is something about the vibration, or frequency, of your consciousness, that literally acts like a lens, a karma lens perhaps, that filters what you see. In other words, on first observation, it might seem that angry people are just plain mean. And from an experiential perspective, they can seem that way. A “truth” of sorts. But evolve yourself, and then look again, and there is a whole other story to tell.My father was a very intense man. He had a fire for God anchored in his core. When he spoke of God, he would well up in tears. He had a very fierce faith. He easily made the top local church officials look like slackers. The church officials never welled up with…
