It is Up to You You decide it all So many people, who have experienced some method of awakening, find that they were living their life drifting along. It is easy to do, really. Just follow the herd. But we, as souls, came here to grow and evolve ourselves. Whether that happens or not, in part, is decided by how conscious we become of ourselves. Conscious of what we are thinking, believing, choosing and acting upon. It is our consciousness, or rather how conscious we are of our consciousness, that decides what happens in our life and how we re-act to it. Left unattended, we can load up our psyche with karmic clutter. Thoughts, beliefs, attitudes, expectations and such that don’t really serve us. Your word is your wand. Evolving through Your Karma Your karma is impersonal Got Karma? Most probably you do. Not that karma is a bad thing, really. It’s not. Sure, you could say, there is “good” karma and there is “bad” karma. But maybe, the better way to say it is that there are “easy” and “fun” karma (lessons) and “tough” and “challenging” karma (lessons). Karma, itself, is actually a fundamental part of BEing human. I guess you could say karma is a fundamental part of incarnating, from the soul’s perspective. Karma is so very patient. Up is Easier. Down is Harder. Which way are you headed? When we take on karma, we are “Going Down.” Not in value or worth. But in, perhaps, difficulties in our life. Perhaps you can imagine a war vet, loaded with PTSD, panhandling at the corner. Life, for him, is hard. Trying to get through the hour, or maybe even trying to get through the minutes.
