Getting Clear about Your Life

Clarity brings your purpose into focus

Do you feel at home in your body? Do you feel on purpose with your life? Do you have a sense of peace within you now?

You have been here on Earth for a while now. Are you getting the knack of your spiritual journey? Of your spiritual growth? All souls are looking for opportunities to grow themselves. Yet our egos cannot understand it all, the big picture, for years and even decades at a time. I could even say, even though you might feel connected to your life purpose now, is there a change coming? For myself, I had spent 30+ years fully committed to my spiritual growth. And yet in this last year or more, with the unexpected hospital stay and the trip to Egypt, I can easily say that I am in a completely new chapter of my life. As far as the journey itself, it is never-ending. Spiritual growth, in and of itself, is without end.

Sometimes we might not understand our lives completely. Sometimes we have these events that are intended to wake us up, and we don’t ever process them completely. Like, for example, my hospital stay. When I was going through the hospital stay, I didn’t understand it all. Even weeks and even months after the hospital stay, I thought I knew what it was about. And in some sense, I did understand it. But then along came Egypt. It wasn’t until I went to Egypt and came back, that I begin to see things in proper perspective. What I knew about the hospital stay, before I went to Egypt, was that it was about a grand reset of sorts. And certainly my psyche was reset, on a very deep level. Spending seven weeks in a hospital bed, along with surgeries, ICU, hours of intense pain, countless x-rays and CAT scans certainly reset me. But it wasn’t until I went to Egypt that I understood the bigger picture of my hospital stay. Once the trip to Egypt came into play, I could now see a bigger intention for the hospital stay. The hospital stay prepared me for my trip to Egypt and the complete reprogramming of myself that came with it. The trip to Egypt itself completely reset my energetic persona.

If I take inventory of all the challenging events in my life, I can see an underlying purpose to them all. Each and every one of them have opened me up. They have pushed me through challenging lessons for my spiritual growth. But now, I must say, where I am at this point in my journey has placed me metaphorically into a completely new dynamic for my life. What these next decades of my life hold in store for me, I do not understand … yet. But I can see that the purpose of these next decades of my life have me on a new trajectory of sorts. More than ever, my life purpose is focused on service to others. It feels like this next chapter of my life isn’t about “healing” my ego, or shedding my karma, but rather, it has shifted into focusing on my soul’s intentions for my life. Almost like my “personal growth” has taken a back seat. And now my life is about how my soul can serve others in their journey. Like the next chapter of my life is focused on my ego serving my soul. This is certainly new ground for me and I am very excited for what my soul intends for the rest of my life to look like.

I share this with you to perhaps help you (re) evaluate your life. To perhaps look at your life through a more focused lens. What were the reasons your soul had for the challenges from your past? What lessons did your soul intend for you to learn along the way? What has your life, up until now, prepared you for? What might you think your soul has in mind for this next chapter in your life? The clearer we can get about where our soul intends for our life to go, the better we can understand the events in our life and how they relate to the journey overall.

When we can see our life, from our soul’s perspective, it can bring a deeper meaning to what might have seemed like difficult challenges of our life. I am now very grateful for all of my life lessons. For what they have prepared me for now. I want to show up in the best ways possible for me to completely fulfill my life purpose. And this brings me great joy even through I am still entrenched in the journey. I am sure my ego doesn’t/can’t understand fully the perspective of my soul, but I can trust that perspective, and show up for it.

Your life purpose is the source of such a deep level of satisfaction and fulfillment that the ego cannot create on its own. Why are you here? Do that!

Love You
