If you want to feel better … Grow yourself
Growing pains are not intended to last forever
How are you doing? There is a lot going on right now. Here is a BIG hug for you if you need it!
Planet Earth just might be the most intense School of Karma in the universe right now. And here you are. It seems like a lot of us have this endurance stance of sorts. Where we have had to deal with one thing after another. Again and again. And there will most likely be more for us to deal with in the future too. But your soul didn’t come here to “sit this one out.” Your soul chose to incarnate here and now for the opportunity. The opportunity to grow.
Growing pains are not intended to last forever. Not really.
If you think back, what were your main challenges perhaps a decade ago? Two decades? Even farther back? Are those problems from your past still challenging you? Or did you grow as a result of them? The “problems,” often called lessons, are part of the human experience. None of your problems are personal. Sure, they might be unique to you, but the mechanism of problems are an impersonal part of being human. Everyone has their own set of problems. Until they grow themselves beyond the problems.
Like taking a difficult class in college. Perhaps the first week you are overwhelmed by the course material(s). And the second week might not feel much better. But, over time, if you show up for yourself, you learn. You grow. You change who you are. You become metaphorically bigger than the problem(s). That’s kind of the whole idea.
Sure, it can be overwhelming. Where you just want to curl up on the couch with a blanket, a pint of your favorite ice cream and watch a favorite movie or such. No “problem” with that. As long as you eventually figure things out for yourself. Sometimes, when we disconnect from our problems, we can get a clarity we couldn’t see when we were engaged in the problem. I think it was Einstein who said something like, “I would wrestle with a problem, get frustrated and go for a walk, only to have the insight(s) come to me during the walk.” Have you tried going for a walk? ;- )
There are so many perspectives of what is happening in the world today. And for many of us, it might be hard to watch. Where things don’t seem to be going in the direction you prefer. Watching the world change is not always easy. I am pretty sure we all have an idea of how we want the world to change. And we perhaps see the opposite direction being taken, we can feel like it is all hopeless and futile. Just like, perhaps, our parents felt about us when we entered our teenage years. But our teenage years were there for us, as individuals, to help us figure out who we were. Not always easy years for sure. But nonetheless, a required part of growing up.
Humanity is metaphorically going through a similar change. We are learning that the relatively simple life we were living in 2019 still had its problems. Problems that were being brought to light recently. Problems we might have never “discovered” about ourselves had the proverbial cart not tipped over in 2020. Yet here we are. With the collective subconscious being churned up and brought to the surface. Although I have been talking about the collective, it still relates to ourselves as individuals. Where we have our own subconscious challenges that we might be seeing brought to the surface in our own life.
Just as, in the past, we had problems that were “real” and “difficult” that wouldn’t even concern us today. Because we grew ourselves. Those problems from our past challenged us to grow. Challenged us to see our problems in a different light. If you were to look at your personal life right now, what would your top problems, or lessons, be? How are they calling you to grow yourself? Who would you need to become to overcome those problems or lessons? Are they calling you to let go of something? Or are they calling you to accept something as it is? Or, perhaps, they are calling you to grow. Grow yourself. Your sense of self. There is a path for all of us. We are never stuck. We are never trapped. There is always more to discover about ourselves. More to learn about ourselves. More potentials to grow within ourselves. What is the world calling for you to grow about yourself? Do that.
Love You
Les
