Gravity doesn’t care if you dance or fall over. It will still keep at it.
Your sentence generator, that “thinker” within you, can have any thought possible.
The mechanisms of karma are impersonal too.
… then there are the potentials that are all around you.
A blank sheet of paper and a pen are impersonal. You can write anything you want.
You could write a musical score.
You could write a muti-billion dollar contract.
You could write the cure for cancer.
You could write your first, or your next, novel.
The ink and the paper are not personal towards what you want to use them for.
The hammer and the nails are impersonal too. You could build …
You get the idea. You are not tethered by the world outside of you. The potentials of the moment are vast and endless. What happens and what doesn’t happen are all You!
I think what really lights that up, metaphorically, is what gets your heart excited. And what that is, what our hearts have in mind, isn’t always obvious or isn’t always automatic. Your heart may be trying to get your attention and your ego is not paying any attention to it. To be able to recognize when our heart is showing us a new direction, and thus a new possible outcome, it is up to us whether we show up for ourselves … or not. To teach, or rather heal, your ego’s ability to show up for your heart is a very powerful thing to master. To have your ego, heart and soul all walking in step with each other is a fun and dynamic way to go through your life. This life of yours. What shall you create?
Then there is the momentum we have, or don’t have. Have you worked on something with excitement and passion? Or do you rather just poke at it with a stick, and not give it your wholehearted efforts? To discipline your time and attention is a fuel of sorts, to honor your heart’s desires with your intentions, attentions and actions.
There are countless new timelines before you now. In other words, you could start any of infinite possible new directions for yourself … today. This day.
