How are you doing? How are you holding up? Are you doing fine, or not so much?
We chose to come here to have this experience. All of it. You, at the soul level, chose everything about your life. Even the tough stuff.
But that doesn’t mean it can’t be tough. That life can be hard to handle. But there is always a gift to be had. We experience difficulties because there is something we need to know about ourselves. Difficulties are a kind of karmic friction. Resistance to life. This planet has countless forms of karma to be had. Planet Earth is a master class for souls to come to learn a deeper truth about themselves.
I know the news can be heart-wrenching. There are plenty of people on this planet who will experience hell today. And likewise, there are those who will experience heaven today. Same planet. Different experiences.
As souls, living out a human experience, we are safe. Very safe. Extremely safe. The truth of you cannot be touched by human intentions. Your essence is untouchable by anything happening here on Earth. Even if we die, the continuity of our consciousness is assured. Spoiler alert … you make it. We all make it. We all make it through this Earth experience.
The more you spiritually evolve, the more you can see the fantastic beauty behind the timeless mechanics of karma. Karma, itself, is as impersonal as gravity. The universe is not operating against you. There is no aspect of “reality” that is biased against you. But we can’t always see that. When we are just starting our spiritual journey, we can think we are the victims of our circumstances. We can even point to the factors behind this kind of thinking. But the bigger picture always tells a different story. It has taken humanity thousands of years to take on this dark karma. The hell that plays out on planet Earth every day is a sort of karmic classroom. We have, as a species, taken on, perhaps, the darkest of karma. Humanity is so very cruel to humanity on this planet.
When you see difficulties in your life, they are asking you to look deeper. Perhaps your soul has lined up train wreck after train wreck for you to grow through. If you look back on your life, at some of the more difficult times you have gone through, can you see any gifts in it? For myself, I was taking on karma for decades, until it cracked me open. That karma was making my life more and more difficult. Pinching me off from life itself. A very difficult time of my life. But in hindsight, I can see that is what my soul lined up for me to ensure that I did indeed crack open. Had I been born into a silver-spoon kind of life, I wouldn’t know hardly anything about who I am. Or what I am capable of. It was through the struggles that I found a very strong and resilient part of myself. When life is easy, we tend to not self-reflect as much. To be clear, I suspect there are many chapters of life where life is indeed easy and fun. Once we get through our karma, we are empowered at a deeper level.
In the beginning, was the LIGHT. Pure consciousness. Pure Love, really. Without wants or desires. Without struggles or strife. But also without knowledge of what is possible. In this free-will universe, we are afforded every type of experience you could imagine. And here we are living out all those possibilities. To find out who we are and what we are capable of. This is a journey. We are never stuck. We always have another moment to re-decide what we would prefer.
