Are You on God’s side? Best be on the “safe” side When we are on a spiritual journey or quest, we want to come out on the “right” side. Right? I mean, it’s a journey. If I don’t go the “right” way, I won’t end up at the “right” place. This can be the basis of the idea of a right vs. wrong mentality. Certainly, if given a choice between right and wrong, we typically want to choose the “right” answer. I mean, who wants to be intentionally wrong? Are we not coming out of the metaphorical darkness? Are we not becoming more and more awake? Are we not choosing the better choices because we have awakened on some level(s)? Sure. Seems to be what’s happening. But wait, we are coming “out of the darkness.” Out of it. Which means some where, some when, we decided, on some level, to…

You can’t do it wrong. You can’t do it All. You are a timeless Soul having a Human experience. Are you deserving of all that you can imagine for yourself? Are you worthy? Or did you do something in your past that makes you unqualified? God knows the answer. Does your ego? If we were to disqualify ourselves any time we “messed up,” nobody but nobody would make it out unscathed. Lucky for us we get to make mistakes. It is part of our Soul’s journey. But Les, if you really knew what I have done … well … OK, let’s list some of the top seemingly unforgivable things that might get in our way. So, say you were Hitler. Just for some perspective. Under your directive, you massacred millions. Does God hate you now? Nope. How about Ivan the Terrible? God just has to hate HIM! Nope. Wait ……

Are you on the Right side of Wrong? Where has your past taken you? It can seem like we have gone through the proverbial ringer. Many of us have had a “villain” in our life. Someone who has seemingly had a quest to give us grief. It really is/was personal … or is/was it? The “villain” is perhaps one who has taken on a huge amount of karma. Perhaps your own “personal” villain(s) have much more karma in their psyche than you do. I would not be surprised if you all shared your journey with me, that you would tell me of some pretty terrible trainwrecks in your lives. I know I have had my share. Even though I have been consciously on my spiritual journey for over 25 years, I have had some pretty intense events in my life, in just the past few years. My attitude towards these…

Can You Reset Yourself? So many narratives … so little time How many triggers do you have? Are you easily offended? How do you react to completely contrary points of view? If your life gets turned on its head, how long does it take to re-adjust to what is? Could you go back through your life and look at every decision you have ever made, and decide, with each and every one, if they were “right” or “wrong?” Are you a writer? a dancer? a poet? a Diva? an architect? a singer? a doctor? a healer? an artist? a sage? a mystic? a … fill in the [   ]. Can you decide, in this moment, which one(s) of those you “are” … or “are not?” I never saw myself as a writer. In fact, my ego argued with my heart and soul for about six years. In those first moments…

Breaking from the Herd (Mentality) Knowing when it’s time I have had a very fortunate perspective. With decades of working in the Television industry, I have had a front-row seat. In the TV industry there is so much content that the industry distributes within itself, which never makes it to the airwaves. News stories from all over the nation, and all over the world, that never make the newscast. One of the things that I started to notice, was the overall narrative. When you watch a (single) human being grow up, you watch them develop and evolve. Eventually reaching maturity. Becoming an adult. But, over time, it was becoming evident that I was watching cycles. The same cycles. A narrative that kept falling back into the same old narrative. There was a herd mentality that seemed to never make the next step in its own evolution. I was fascinated that…

By becoming empty … you become … Mirror Mirror There is a dichotomy of sorts. It is through the ego that many of us “see” ourselves. And the ego is the realm of symbols. Or labels. I am this. I am that. Certainly, there can be value to that. For example, perhaps we are trying to conquer a big challenge. To become a doctor, leader, or such. It can help to tell ourselves … I got this. I can do it. But, from a much bigger perspective, holding on to symbols does not have any value. In other words, our soul has no need for symbols. If you think of holding a static image of yourself, by claiming certain attributes as your identity, you are actually diluting the quantum field in each moment. But … I AM a doctor. OK. Got it. There is a curious thing, in the mechanics…
