What Can You Imagine For Yourself? If you don’t believe it you will probably not see it. What do you believe is possible for your life? What? Could you be an … artist? Mountain climber? Welder? Healer? Author? Singer? Midwife? World traveler? Foster parent? Farmer? Cook? Race car driver? Etc. I am not suggesting you do something just to be busy. Or that you “need” to do it. It is always your call. I do think that we tend to settle in to a complacency or “normal” behavior. There are no requirements. You have free will. But then, your soul probably has a few hundred possibilities for your life. Most of which you might not ever consider. We tend to think in a linear fashion. Like a road map and a destination. We will go here, then we will go here, and then we will arrive. Linear thinking for our…
If Consciousness were Your Currency Where are you “spending” your thoughts? Our ego requires linear thinking. Our ego processes symbols. Our ego assigns “value” to these symbols. The symbols that are not the actual thing. Symbols are a marker or reference to something … else. Your heart and soul don’t require symbols. They are a non-linear based intelligence. Yet, for so many of us, we “spend” most or all of our time immersed in linear thinking. In our minds. Life in the Fast Brain. The snag is … the ego wants the meaning of the past, to be used to interpret the “new” reality being born in each moment. In other words, the world you “see” now is interpreted by the symbols, and thus the values, of the past. So, if a magic spaceship arrived, and took you on a journey through time, into the future, what could you “see?” Perhaps…
This too … will pass There are no permanent markers We are never stuck. We are (eternally) free. It just doesn’t seem that way when we are marching on a linear timeline. There have been many people sharing with me lately how their life is in despair. But this too … will pass. There is nothing that can impede our journey, at least not forever. It might seem a little silly, but we get a “master reset” when we transition. If you lost a leg, in a previous life from perhaps a WWI mishap, poof, you get a new one in this life. How cool is THAT? The idea that when the ego tires of the back-to-back challenges of this life and takes on a “this life is finished” attitude, is a short-term temporal notion. There is ALWAYS another lesson. Another chapter of sorts in your life. But to be…
