The celebration of the Christ, is the celebration of the Christ Consciousness.
… when Jesus was spending his last days on Earth, he was nowhere close to “saving humanity.” The Roman Empire was expanding its intentions of war. The suffering of humanity was expanding. Jesus didn’t even come close to “saving mankind.” He never intended to be the (sole) savior of humanity.
Enter You (and me).

If Jesus (ever) intended to “save humanity,” it was through the awakening of the Divine within us all. Yet, for the organized religions that come from Jesus’s time on Earth, they would be the ones that would burn you at the stake if you started healing people, a trait that Jesus said you would (eventually) master. They would be calling you blasphemous, they would proclaim you a witch. And order your death. This is well-documented. As it exists now, traditional Christian religions are not really expecting you to discover the real power of your Christ Consciousness within you now. They would be out of a job.
It is the Christ Consciousness, that is within you now, that you will be “saved.” Even the notion of being “saved” is folly. You are a timeless Soul, having a human experience. The essence of your Soul cannot “die.” Yet, once it takes on an incarnation, and develops an ego over time, that ego can feel mortal. There is a death of sorts, when we release the body that we took on when we were born. There is a death of the ego, but as the millions of NDE’s (Near Death Experiences) have shown … the continuity of your consciousness is assured. How could Jesus tell us (our souls) that we would be doing everything that he has done, if it were left to a single lifetime? His prophecy would be erroneous.
It is the evolution of the soul that assures us (eventually, over many lifetimes) that we will embody Christ Consciousness within ourselves. And thus fully embody the Jesus archetype within ourselves.
Having interviewed several hundred guests on the New Human Living radio show, from all religious denominations, it is my estimation that the Eastern religions are the closest to bringing the Christ Consciousness back into this life’s experience. The Kama Sutra’s 25 yogas, that if mastered, would bring about a transcendence of the laws of physics. The way Jesus defied the laws of physics.
