Surrendering to Love
Go ahead. Just try to avoid it. Avoiding surrendering to Love cannot last. Not really.
We have actually tried it. The collective consciousness has run away from Love. For many thousands of years. But now, this now right here and now, is another moment to Love. And you can start with you.
What would happen if your higher self, a vessel of unconditional Love, showed up as a dear old friend? And looked at you through loving eyes? Where in your life would there be more opportunity to Love yourself? “You could let go of worry,” said that vessel of Love. “You could eat healthier food.” “Take some time off and just rest.” “Let’s go work on that painting in the closet.”
We allow our life to happen, really. We are Divinity incarnate. When we connect with our higher self, more and more opposites unite. The duality of our consciousness starts to re-integrate. Our judgments dissolve as we start to see ourselves on more and more faces of humanity. We start to have compassion for more and more of our human condition. WE start BEing that vessel of Love for others. And our heart expands.
The Lover comes. The Lover comes. An open heart looking for a wide-open vessel of Love. To mirror the Divine. Making Love never ends, really. It is there in the beginning of the day. And all through the day, there is (unconditional) Love. A Love that just won’t stop e-x-p-a-n-d-i-n-g. Having totally lost the desire to resist. A climax of sorts. A wave of ecstatic bliss that flows over the body. The muscles all over the body shiver in the delight of the feeling of this Love. The grip is lost. The posture subsides … and …
We are hardwired for the return to the Divine. To that place of knowingness. That place of “all that is” that is within us now. Do you want to fall in Love? There is no place where it will not meet you. But you just might lose yourself in the journey.
The Love we share with the Lover is a template for how we can open to Divine Love. A rapture of sorts. A surrender of sorts. There is such a huge potential for Love within each one of us. And those of us who can cleanse our own sense of self, with a purity that is uncommon even in the spiritual community, can open even further to the Rapture of our Hearts.
