Are you waiting for God to answer you? Ring … Ring … So you have said your prayers. Done! Just waiting for God to answer them now. tick … tock … tick … tock … (The passage of time) Helloooo? Are you there God? I was pretty specific. Where are my answers? Is God like a short order cook? Ask and it is given. Right? More time passes  … What the hell? God???? If God isn’t going to show up the way you might expect her to, then why are you praying? How does this “God” play his cards? Easy math says billions of prayers have been prayed. And yet, there is still considerable suffering on this planet. How does this “God” work? If we are not seeing the results of our prayers … perhaps someone isn’t keeping their side of the agreement. Traversing the storm Move yourself out of struggle There is a momentum of sorts, a karmic momentum, where we have a pretty constant experience of our life. Not to say that we are all having the same experience, but rather, once we grow up and move into adulthood, there can be a momentum of sorts to the life we experience. Have you heard someone say “All of my three ex-wives have cheated on me?” This is a kind of karmic momentum I am talking about. This is just an example, but there are those have difficulties holding down a job, keeping out of jail, or whatever. I use the idea of traversing in the title to suggest the notion that we can traverse through our karmic momentum and eventually be free of it. Putting Yourself Back Together Have you ever been wiped out? For so many people, these have been some pretty hard times. How do you put yourself back together? I recently had to go through this. Well, I chose to go through this. As you know, scrubbing my psyche is a priority in my life. And over the Christmas week, I hit pay dirt. Or perhaps, pay pain. The Elegance of Karma Karma will always resolve itself There is an elegance to karma that comes from its most beautiful “design.” Not sure just how it came about, but I am in awe of its most beautiful construct. So let’s play around a bit and see if we can see the more subtle effects of karma. Your ego, the one reading this sentence, has no consciousness of its own. None. It is powered by the consciousness of your Soul. If your Soul were to “disconnect” from your ego, your ego would cease to operate at all. It has nothing, of its own, to sustain itself. “Evil” is dependent on the consciousness of the ego. And thus, it has no consciousness of its own either.
