Confusion is a Normal part of Living We do not change in a flash Have you ever been confused? Not sure of what you believe? Perfect. When we go through change, with anything significant, we don’t do it in an instant. At least not when it comes to what we believe. There is a natural back and forth. Sure, you can change quickly. I want vanilla ice cream … no, wait! I want chocolate. But when we look at changing our opinions, beliefs and attitudes, as it relates to major issues, we typically go back and forth for a while. This in-be-tween state is often called confusion. If you were to change something of significance in your life, say for example, your religion, you might go back and forth for many months. The idea that confusion is a bad thing is not accurate. We do not change such things in…
Where is Your path to Nirvana? Follow the Yellow Brick Road A nuclear ka-boom. Where is your path to the promised land? Where will you find what you are looking for? Where will you be when you “get there?” We all have a “normal” of sorts. Even if it is uncomfortable. Perhaps, within our own normal, we have chronic pain. Or an emotional tempest within us. But if you wipe off the descriptions of what your normal feels like … there is a baseline of sorts. A “density” of sorts. A “viscosity” of sorts. But what about the ka-boom? There is so much power in the nuclear arena. A softball size of nuclear material has a tremendous amount of energy or power. So, imagine with me a bit. When that power is released, it e-x-p-a-n-d-s very rapidly. And then eventually normalizes itself. So, let’s reverse that process. Let’s take a…
Taking it on the Chin When are you going to learn? Where do you stand? What do you (really) believe in? What? There is certainly a bit of a tug-of-war going on in the media. Both Social and Mainstream media. Whether it is a discussion about what the best way is to handle our health, or perhaps, the political arena(s). Or any other of the many topics that are being debated online. It can take a bit of self-confidence to navigate your own personal evolution. Every time we raise our consciousness, we are shifting our perspective of our own life. When we share these new perspectives, we can get pushback. We can get critical feedback about our new perspectives. There is a gigantic evolution of human consciousness going on right now. And thank God. If we truly want to live in a better world, then change is a requirement. But…
Walk This Way What is the “right” way to live? Where are you going? What do you intend to experience in the future? Who do you want to be? We are all on a journey … of sorts. I find it quite curious, this notion of ourselves. Who am I? Who are You? As we progress through our lives, we have so many opportunities to change. Some of us are living quite intentional lives. With a clear sense of direction. And others are seeking a firm path to walk on. A clearer sense of who they really are. Nobody had an ego the day they were born. In a sense … there was nobody home. And then we grew an ego. We grew a sense of self. And if we all took a moment and wrote down how we viewed life, we would have many very different views of what…
