Your Karma doesn’t Have You. You have Your Karma.
You decide your karma’s effect.
Your karma is ready when you are. Whenever you get around to wanting to shed your karma, your karma is ready to go. Your karma doesn’t set the timeline for its release, you do. When will it matter enough for you to tend to it?
Karma, like gravity, is an impersonal mechanism related to having the human experience. The impersonal mechanism of karma is playing out across 8 billion variations within all of humanity. Each one of us has our own unique experience of karma. No two people’s karma is exactly the same. Karma doesn’t have a timeframe to it. You could continue on with your existing karma for the rest of your life. Karma itself, like gravity itself, doesn’t care how you experience it. It is you that will, or won’t, decide when it’s time to deal with your karma. Got Karma?
Left to my own discretion, I was going to click off my entire life, without a clue about my own personal karma. My karma was slowly (metaphorically) pinning me to the ground. My world was getting smaller and smaller. Yet, I felt like I knew all about who I was. I thought I knew all about myself. For decades I remained clueless about my karma. Yet my karma was making the lion’s share of my decisions for me. All of my karma was operating in me completely under my radar.
Why karma isn’t taught in schools, at perhaps around middle school age, I don’t know. Easily a topic of its own, I never saw a textbook just about karma. Or a class just about karma. No wonder so many of us are not tending to our own karma.
Whether you want to spiritually evolve, or perhaps you want to advance your personal development or self-improvement, karma is a key element in both of those journeys. Karma, by its very nature, has a momentum to it. It could be said that if you haven’t been tending to your karma, it is probably deciding most of your life.
When we are not aware of our karma, our lives can collapse into these narrow corridors of comfort. If we are not tending to our karma, these corridors of comfort tend to get anchored into our everyday living. If we are taking on more and more karma, as we are living out our days, then we are getting squeezed into narrower and narrower corridors of choices. Making our world metaphorically smaller and smaller.
The karma, the mechanism of karma, doesn’t care how far down into the karma we can plunge ourselves. Just look at the karma on this planet. We are living out, collectively and individually, some of the most intense karma known. Karma is a big deal. It, left unattended, can decide our future for us. Regardless of what we would prefer.
It is you that decides your relationship with your karma. Unless you don’t decide. If you are not consciously tending to your karma, your karma has you.
Love You
