Evolving through Your Karma Your karma is impersonal Got Karma? Most probably you do. Not that karma is a bad thing, really. It’s not. Sure, you could say, there is “good” karma and there is “bad” karma. But maybe, the better way to say it is that there are “easy” and “fun” karma (lessons) and “tough” and “challenging” karma (lessons). Karma, itself, is actually a fundamental part of BEing human. I guess you could say karma is a fundamental part of incarnating, from the soul’s perspective. Karma is so very patient. It will wait many lifetimes for us to “get it.” In other words, we can spend, as a soul, many lifetimes on just one karmic topic. Perhaps the karmic lesson is “deceit.” We could spend several lifetimes where we experience deceit from those close to us, over and over again. Until we learn the lesson. That is how we…
Looking through your Karmic Lens Can You see the “Truth”? Can you “see” the truth? Is your ability to perceive accurate and clear? Can you see what is going on in the world? When I was going through several major karmic lessons several decades ago, I thought, at the time, that I could understand what I was seeing. I was pretty confident that I knew the “truth” of it all. I have (spiritually) grown since then. Who I thought the “villain(s)” were, were actually my teachers. My angels in some cases. The biggest villains were some of my biggest soul contracts for this lifetime. I am so very grateful for those villains. “If you can cultivate the right attitude, your enemies are your best spiritual teachers because their presence provides you with the opportunity to enhance and develop tolerance, patience and understanding.” ~ Dalai Lama Who are your villain(s)? What…
Your Answers are Within You now Karma itself is not personal You are metaphorically standing in front of a mirror. You are the creator of your reflection. You are the creator of your life experience. If you are bumping up against struggle or resistance in your life, your emotions will reflect where you are stuck. In other words, our emotions are created when our beliefs, attitudes and values bump up against “reality.” They are a report card of sorts. Your emotions evolve, or don’t evolve, as you grow or evolve, or don’t grow or evolve yourself. We take on a sense of self as we live our lives. This “sense of self” is set up in our mind/ego. If I ask you “who are you?” it would be your ego that responds. Yet, before your ego existed, you were, and always are, a soul identity as well. When we look…
