What is your Karmic Cadence? Karma, like gravity, is impersonal. In any one moment, you are either releasing karma, experiencing no change in your karma or taking on more karma. How you are changing, as it relates to how much karma you have, can be a choice. So many people don’t pay any attention to their karma. At all. There are even “spiritual teachers” that are teaching false principles that are actually increasing their followers’ karma. Anger, bad! Don’t ever show anger. Expressing anger is not spiritually correct. Yeah … right. Suppressing my anger is what kicked my karmic ass for the first decades of my life. lol Karma is very impersonal. All of reality is impersonal, really. Wait a minute, that can’t be right. Right? I suppose there are millions if not billions of folks that have a bone to pick with their karma. Perhaps so. But the mechanisms…
What you focus on … expands Where are you putting your attention? There is a thing about gratitude that can have an effect on your future. When you are grateful for something that is already in your life, you are putting your attention on what you are grateful for. By putting your attention on what has already been created, even though it is already here, it primes your future for more of the same. It is like you are ordering more of that thing. Likewise, when you are putting your attention on what you don’t want and having it elicit an emotional response, you are solidifying it in your future. It might seem that you are just and worthy to have a vile hatred of something that is horrible. Certainly this planet has plenty of horrific things happening on it. But what the hell? There is a recorder of sorts,…
As You Are The Life that You are Living So, what are you experiencing? What do your days feel like? What is your overall mental demeanor? What is your overall emotional demeanor? These demeanors determine the core of your daily experiences. Well, that and some other things. Can you offend a mirror? Can you overwhelm a mirror? I am not talking about physically, but rather, just with an image. Stand in front of a mirror, and try to startle it. Maybe take it outside on a clear night, and look at the reflection of the night sky. Now that is a BIG image. The mirror isn’t even trying hard. It does all it does with ease. Without bias or preferences. With no agenda of its own. Impersonal and indifferent. Every reflected image has the same merit. No image has a status above another. Quantum Cornflakes. Quantum Doughnuts. Quantum Nuclear Kaboomies.…
Is Life happening by You or to You? Karma can shift your perspective What if … you were born on the other side of the planet? In a completely different household? Who, or perhaps what, would you be now? In other words, how would your personality be different? Perhaps the polar opposite of what it is now. The “who” that you are now was all learned and/or imprinted on you. If you were to think of the metaphorical opposite of who you are now, could you become that now? For example, if you have a chronic disease now, could you become vibrant and healthy? If you are low income now, could you become high income? Can you see what I am getting at here? There is an energy to your upbringing. There is a mental construct to your mental demeanor. There is an emotional conditioning to you now. These things,…
Karma In Karma Out The Journey of the Soul Karma is impersonal and indifferent. Just like gravity is. There is a phrase that seems applicable here. The Journey of the Soul. Think about a brand new Soul as a lightbulb that is turned on. Shining bright. As Souls come from Source Consciousness or God Consciousness. In the beginning was the Light. That statement, perhaps, could refer to the composition of a brand new Soul. Light. A new Soul has no human experience until it incarnates for the first time. Without any experience(s), it has no known preferences. Preferences that are decided by an experience. Sometimes those experiences are too much. Where we feel overwhelmed. And thus, the posturing begins. And thus the karma begins. and thus the loading up of our psyche begins. If, perhaps, we could stay completely in the feelings of living our life we would do well…
Caught up in Your own Reflection The world … out there is you The birthplace of your past, is what you are “seeing” right now. Yet we are always in the process of creation. I guess you could say that what we are seeing, moment to moment, is the result of our creation. The moment, this moment, passes … it is in our past. We never see the same moment twice. At least from our egos’ perspective. I could have spent my whole life living by what I see. In other words, if I had never been cracked open, I could have spent the rest of my life observing the results of my creation process. Not observing the actual creation process. But rather only the results. Om …. Om … Om … (the silent sound of meditation ;- ) Our mind is quite the player in this thing called life.…
Your Freedom and Your Feelings are related. Do You want more Freedom? My life was being pinched off. I felt it but I didn’t know just how much it was metaphorically drowning me. Before I was cracked open, my feelings, or rather my avoidance of certain feelings, was literally pinching my life out of me. My life was getting smaller and smaller. We all have our comfort zones. A way of life that we prefer. I get it. I mean, who doesn’t want what they prefer? Honing a clarity about what we prefer is a very powerful modality of creating the life that you want. Right? The clearer you get about what you prefer, the more your life moves into what you want it to be. But that will only get you so far. And that may be far enough for you. Not my call. When we find our lives…
To walk out of the Karmic Storms Your subconscious decides how much your environment influences you We posture with reality. At least until we come to terms with it. In other words, our karma has us posturing with reality based on our subconscious programming. Based on our unresolved karmic stigmas. There is a curious thing that happens. Perhaps not in every situation. But certainly for myself. We get cracked open, by some major event in our lives. And that starts an unraveling of sorts. You might call it an inward dive into our own psyche. For myself, once I got cracked open, I started a whole new journey in my life. And thus a whole new outcome for my life. We have all felt a collective experience. Say, for example, 9/11. The whole world witnessed that event. Do you remember how you felt that day? Do you remember how the…
Learning to Run When the training wheels comes off When you start to get some traction, walking in step with your heart and soul, you start to notice encounters you have with others, in a different way. You may pray to be a more Loving being, and someone will come along and trigger your unresolved anger. Damn it. I was praying for Love. As you start to listen to your heart and soul more and more as you go about your day, then you start to notice a shift in your cadence. And the direction you are headed. By teaching your ego to just step back a bit, and allow a flow to present itself, then you are in the current. You are flowing in the stream. The villain is also your hero. Only they can push your buttons the deepest, within your psyche. Affording you the sight to heal…
Let Go of Struggle There is Grace within You now Imagine … if you will … Imagine that you are crossing a wide and swift river. Perhaps about waist deep. And there is a taut rope strung across the swift river. You are holding tightly to the rope as you take step after step. Feeling for a solid footing on the rocky bottom. Each step brings risk, yet again. Over and over. If you get it wrong … yikes. When we have loaded up our psyche with unresolved emotions, beliefs and expectations, we are literally creating a source of turbulence of sorts within us. We are creating an energetic “connection” with the world “out there.” When the world “out there” is triggered with emotional events, emotions of fear, lack, war, famine and dis-ease, we feel it within our own unresolved emotions in our subconscious. We actually project this energetic connection…
From the Dark, into the Light Reclaiming Your Consciousness When we think of our spiritual journey (back) to enlightenment, it is actually a return to wholeness. Where we connect with energetic elements of energy within our subconscious, feel it, and thus release it. But often, this is the last thing we want to do, at an ego level. Our ego oftentimes prefers to avoid the difficult feelings within ourself. That avoidance tends to promote the accumulation of even more karma into our subconscious. Thus pushing us deeper into the shadow side of being human. We lose our consciousness when we posture or divide ourself. It isn’t that we actually lose our consciousness, per se, but rather, we separate it by pushing it into our subconscious. Thus creating, or adding to, our shadow. In other words, whenever we avoid a feeling, by posturing with it, we are creating karma. If you…
