In other words, once we have accumulated a lot of pent-up karma in our subconscious, it can seem like we are living in a rigid pattern of life. Our life takes on a seemingly consistent nature to it. And from that, our minds can believe that life is just “that way.” Where our karmic experiences are repeating themselves over and over. To compound that, we can have karma from past lives that anchor a repetitive pattern in ourselves, and thus into our life experiences as well.
