Taking the Soul Perspective There are no mistakes Did you read the fine print? Before you chose to incarnate into this lifetime of yours, did you read the fine print? It can seem like a karmic tsunami gone bad. I mean, there is talk of another world war. There is so much suffering and division. And the karma, so you think, you can metaphorically cut with a knife. What went “wrong?” There is “no” wrong. The thing is, is that Source Consciousness/Prime Creator/God chose to create the realm of duality. To explore. To explore infinite potential. Infinite. Without end. We are never stuck. Not on the Divine scale of time. All things will resolve. All of creation will, eventually, return to Source. Our ego can easily become consumed by the vast amounts of information that we sort through as we go about our day. And the BS that we bump…
The Comfort or the Chaos Which do You prefer? It can seem like a good idea, the notion of comfort, that is. I mean, there is a bit of a karmic tsunami going on. Indeed, comfort, or perhaps taking the time to rest and ground yourself, can be very beneficial for you. Is that the ticket for getting through all this collective chaos? There are always pluses and minuses to everything. I mean, to talk about a plus, Heaven itself! In the beginning was the Light! Heaven right there. Before creation got started, well, it was already Heaven. The Light of Unconditional Love. Perfect … right? Well, Heaven, in and of itself, can’t give you the experience of being in form. Being in a body. Incarnation into human form for all the experiences it can offer you. There are no villains in heaven. And there are no heroes too. Heaven is…
Which “where” are you going to? Where ARE you going? Is your hand on the wheel? A metaphor for driving your car. Is your hand on the wheel of your life? Are you intentionally choosing where you intend to go with your life? Or, are you enjoying just floating along? Which can have wonderful relaxation effects. There is no right or wrong to your choices. Sure, there might be karma as consequences to your choices. If you choose to go … into the military, you might not last long if a war breaks out. But to have an intention, an intended destination or outcome, is a very powerful thing to do for yourself. But even then, there can be some wiggle room. There is nothing wrong with having a very specific intention. “I want to get my Doctorate in Astrophysics at MIT.” Perfect! “I want to understand Astrophysics as best…
Nothing Personal It is really all up to You! The world, as the world itself, is not personal. Gravity doesn’t care if you dance or fall over. It will still keep at it. Your sentence generator, that “thinker” within you, can have any thought possible. The mechanisms of karma are impersonal too. … then there are the potentials that are all around you. A blank sheet of paper and a pen are impersonal. You can write anything you want. You could write a musical score. You could write a muti-billion dollar contract. You could write the cure for cancer. You could write your first, or your next, novel. The ink and the paper are not personal towards what you want to use them for. The hammer and the nails are impersonal too. You could build … You get the idea. You are not tethered by the world outside of you.…
Octaves of Wisdom Where are you operating from? How do you make the choices that you make, as you go about your day? It can seem that we are making our decisions based on what is happening outside of us. I want that. I don’t want that. That being that thing or opportunity outside of us. And there is certainly a merit to that. Sure, we are observing “this” and “that” outside of us. The thing is, we are actually basing a lot of wisdom, the wisdom behind our choices, on what is going on inside of us. There is a metaphorical structure to our consciousness. You could think of it as octaves of consciousness. Tiers of wisdom, perhaps. As we load up our psyche, over many lifetimes, including this lifetime, we start to posture. We develop a wisdom, perhaps based in our egos, that decides what we do as…
In or Out To Expand or to Contract Yourself Have you ever had a pet, perhaps a cat or a dog, that couldn’t make up their mind? Like you would let them outside, and in the very next moment, they wanted to come back inside? Only to want to go right back outside? Pick one! lol There is an “In” and an “Out” when it comes to our consciousness. Where are we going to put our attention? Perhaps you start your morning meditation, intending to focus your attention inside of you … and then you smell the chocolate you bought at the market, that you had left in the room the night before. As you look at these words written on this page, you are perceiving a “reality” that you didn’t have access to before. Before you were born, that is. As a soul, before you were born, you didn’t…
Karma In Karma Out The Journey of the Soul Karma is impersonal and indifferent. Just like gravity is. There is a phrase that seems applicable here. The Journey of the Soul. Think about a brand new Soul as a lightbulb that is turned on. Shining bright. As Souls come from Source Consciousness or God Consciousness. In the beginning was the Light. That statement, perhaps, could refer to the composition of a brand new Soul. Light. A new Soul has no human experience until it incarnates for the first time. Without any experience(s), it has no known preferences. Preferences that are decided by an experience. Sometimes those experiences are too much. Where we feel overwhelmed. And thus, the posturing begins. And thus the karma begins. and thus the loading up of our psyche begins. If, perhaps, we could stay completely in the feelings of living our life we would do well…
The Other Side of the Soul You are a Soul having a Human experience So, perhaps, I can assume it is your ego reading this sentence. And this sentence too. But “you” didn’t even HAVE an ego the day you were born. So who is this “You”? For those of us who are parents with multiple kids, we can often see the very distinct personalities that each child has. A “personality” of sorts, from the day they were born. A personality that had character, from the beginning. That personality is coming from the Soul. The Soul that has (re) incarnated. You, as a Soul, have been there from the beginning. The day you were born, your Soul was there. Complete and whole. A large part of your personality was present in the demeanor of your Soul. What would you say are your top two or three characteristics? Personality traits? Aspects…
Getting Past the Struggles One Step at a Time Where did you come from? Perhaps the question is, who is this “you” we are talking about? Are we talking about your Soul as this “you?” If so, then perhaps we would talk about the journey of your Soul. And perhaps previous lives. The themes of your last several incarnations. Etc. Or perhaps we are talking about your ego. Well, that is quite a different conversation. For this moment, let’s look at your ego. Were your parents fully realized personifications of the Divine? In other words, were your parents without any karma or stigmas? Were your parents performing miracle after miracle as the saviors of the past have promised us all we would all eventually be able to do? My guess is probably … no. Certainly for me, no. My parents had plenty of struggles of their own. But here is…
It is Who You become as You walk Your Path Your Journey has a Purpose, and so do You Perhaps the safest place for a boat is in the harbor. But the value or reason for a boat, is lost … in the harbor. In other words, if the boat never leaves the harbor, why even have the boat. The (metaphorical) “safest” place for you to be is in your home. With the window shades pulled down and the doors all locked. But you didn’t incarnate to just be “safe.” Sure, we all want to be safe, in a general way. But we also feel more alive when we bump up against risk. “It’s only in uncertainty that we’re naked and alive.” ~ Peter Gabriel There has been so much change over the last several years. Many of us would just like the change to settle down. To get back…
Love has a Wisdom to it Love You Let’s take a journey of sorts. To imagine the journey of Consciousness. In the beginning was the Light. I would suggest this was the radiant field of Unconditional Love. Perhaps also called Source, or Christ, Consciousness. Without form, posture or preference. This is the fabric or substance of all that will be created. Ever. Fast forward 6 billion years. Now we have the Earth and upon this Earth the Human BEing. A vehicle of experience. In other words, how a Soul can come into form to experience what it is like to have the human experience. What it feels like to take on karma. To separate from our innate power. And so forth. When a new Soul is born, just like a new baby, there is no preference or opinion. As we incarnate, and take on karma, we are traversing a scale…
