Pick Your Reality Your Reality is a Reflection of You I had spent decades living out a “reality” that was not what I preferred. But I didn’t know the mechanism at the time. In other words, I had spent decades with unresolved energy, inner chi, in my psyche. A lot of energy, really. And this energy set me up to learn about my karma. I had no clue, at the time, that a lot of my day-to-day living was being dictated by subconscious elements of myself. Subconscious. Unknown to me. In that “reality,” my life before I was cracked open, my unresolved anger was deciding oh so much of my life. I know I keep using anger as an example, but that is the emotion that showed me the karmic mechanism in effect in my life. Anger, before I was cracked open, ensured that I would avoid any situation that…

It is not up to You You have no say in the matter The vast majority of your experience, what it feels like for you to be living your life right now, the vast majority of that, is totally out of your control. You couldn’t change it if you wanted to. Sure, yes, you can change your life. But the vehicle, the process, and all the elements involved in enabling you to have this experience, has nothing to do with you (as your ego). In other words, your body doesn’t need you (the ego). You can get knocked unconscious and your body goes on, until you return. The day you were born, you had a body, but didn’t have an ego. You, the ego, are not a required element for the existence of your body. Your mind, that your ego is running this narrative on right now, also existed the…

What Can You Imagine For Yourself? If you don’t believe it you will probably not see it. What do you believe is possible for your life? What? Could you be an … artist? Mountain climber? Welder? Healer? Author? Singer? Midwife? World traveler? Foster parent? Farmer? Cook? Race car driver? Etc. I am not suggesting you do something just to be busy. Or that you “need” to do it. It is always your call. I do think that we tend to settle in to a complacency or “normal” behavior. There are no requirements. You have free will. But then, your soul probably has a few hundred possibilities for your life. Most of which you might not ever consider. We tend to think in a linear fashion. Like a road map and a destination. We will go here, then we will go here, and then we will arrive. Linear thinking for our…

Getting Close to Heaven You will be there when Heaven arrives There are thousands of possible paths towards your future for you to choose from. Your future is wide open. In and of itself, consciousness has no boundaries. You, as a personality, are a pliable programmable vehicle of experience. You live in a world that was unimaginable not that long ago. You are who decides what will be, for you. To become (more) conscious of that will serve you well. Right now, where you stand, or sit, Jesus could arrive in the very same environment you are in now, and perform miracles. You live in the potentials of miracles yourself. In other words, when Jesus said, you will do everything I have done, and even more … it is you that decides how much, or how little, the universe responds to you. If you were to evolve your consciousness and…

You Decide It All You are the sole creator of your experience OK. So no. You, yourself, can’t put another three or four suns in the sky. OK, so no, you can’t add another dozen planets to the solar system. So no, you don’t decide it all. Not from the collective perspective. But, absolutely, you do decide it all when it comes to how you experience your “reality.” Gravity is impersonal. The mechanics of karma are impersonal. The mechanics of emotions are impersonal. The cycle of day and night are impersonal. Time is impersonal, etc. You, it is you, that decides how you experience these things. There is no built-in experience of “reality.” If there were, we would all experience everything the exact same way. It is truly a blessing that we decide it all. Earlier this year I spent seven weeks in the hospital. Five surgeries. Extreme pain for…

Coming Out of the Storm Healing Your Relationship with “Reality” So, how are you doing? How are you holding up in this sea of change? There is a connection, a bonding, of sorts. A karmic connection. A karmic bond, you might say, that connects us with our own “reality.” This connection is completely energetic … at first. Until it is not. We all have our own personal history. We all have our own personal karma. Unique to ourselves. Connecting us to our own personal human experience. This karmic connection is the most impersonal thing imaginable. Our connection to “reality” is a pliable and changeable aspect of ourselves. There are billions of variations of karma playing themselves out on Earth today. In other words, although we all live on the same planet, how we experience it is completely unique to ourselves. It is our karma that decides our experience. But even…

Up is Easier. Down is Harder. Which way are you headed? When we take on karma, we are “Going Down.” Not in value or worth. But in, perhaps, difficulties in our life. Perhaps you can imagine a war vet, loaded with PTSD, panhandling at the corner. Life, for him, is hard. Trying to get through the hour, or maybe even trying to get through the minutes. When we take on karma, we create a momentum of sorts. You might say a narrower karmic trajectory. Where “more of the same” is the name of the game. If we are souls, which we are, that have come here to learn and experience, which we have, “going down” is stepping into more difficult lessons for ourselves. In other words, when a soul incarnates into a challenging lifetime, very often that soul takes on more karma. Moving their overall vibration down. Or lower in…

Don’t Blame the Mirror Look at Your Reflection The world you experience “out there” is a perfect reflection of You. This simple idea can be a measuring stick for who you really are. Are you wealthy fiscally? Or not so much. Are you healthy? Or not so much. Are you happy? Or not so much. Are you … you get the idea. But keep in mind, what you are seeing, being reflected back to you, might have been “put” there within you a very long time ago. Did you inherit a genetic disorder? Does your family lineage have a long history of poverty? Are you a mirror image of your family lineage? Maybe and maybe not. The human psyche is extremely programmable. Imagine if you will, just for conversation sake, that you were switched at birth. Just a general example to illustrate how the environment in which you were raised…

Nobody’s fault but Mine You create Your experience There is a bit of a lag of sorts. A temporal displacement. At least it can seem that way. In other words, once we have accumulated a lot of pent-up karma in our subconscious, it can seem like we are living in a rigid pattern of life. Our life takes on a seemingly consistent nature to it. And from that, our minds can believe that life is just “that way.” Where our karmic experiences are repeating themselves over and over. To compound that, we can have karma from past lives that anchor a repetitive pattern in ourselves, and thus into our life experiences as well. This can give us a sense of being a “victim” of our experiences. Where our conscious mind can’t connect the dots as to why “bad things” keep happening to us. Perhaps it is the third divorce, where…

What is Your Karmic Momentum? Karma itself is impersonal So, what does momentum have to do with karma? Easy. Just try to make a significant change in your life. Writing this, I just now realized, that what I am really talking about is inertia. What’s the difference? Mass. The difference is mass. Imagine you are driving down a steep and winding mountain road. Lots of tight corners. Now imagine that with two different vehicles. These vehicles represent a difference in mass or weight. If you are on a motorcycle, that steep mountain road could be so much fun. Easily maneuverable. Great cornering. Made for it, really.  Now imagine driving that same steep mountain road in a fully loaded cement truck. Not made to take corners very well. Especially at higher speeds. Driving something like that, down the same mountain road, would be dangerous and difficult. If you made it at…

Don’t Blame the Teacher What you see is your reflection Do you have difficult people in your life? Those people who can really get you upset? Or, perhaps, are just an irritant? Perfect. You could call them your teachers. This might be one of those times where the problem is actually part of the solution. I know I had such a problem. I am that I am. Seems like a simple statement. “I Am That I Am” is what God told Moses, speaking through the Burning Bush. Well, that doesn’t solve any of my problems. I am that I am. What am I supposed to do with that? When you stand in front of a mirror and, looking at the image of yourself in the mirror, you see that your hair is all messed up … do you take your comb and try to straighten the hair in the reflection?…
