What is Your Karmic Momentum? Karma itself is impersonal So, what does momentum have to do with karma? Easy. Just try to make a significant change in your life. Writing this, I just now realized, that what I am really talking about is inertia. What’s the difference? Mass. The difference is mass. Imagine you are driving down a steep and winding mountain road. Lots of tight corners. Now imagine that with two different vehicles. These vehicles represent a difference in mass or weight. If you are on a motorcycle, that steep mountain road could be so much fun. Easily maneuverable. Great cornering. Made for it, really. Now imagine driving that same steep mountain road in a fully loaded cement truck. Not made to take corners very well. Especially at higher speeds. Looking through Your Karmic Lens What do You see? I was thinking the other day about the spiritual journey itself. A journey, that if you are reading this blog, you are most likely on. To grow or evolve our spirituality. There are hundreds of “modalities” or “processes” that so many spiritual teachers provide. Somatic work, Emotional work, Mental work, and the like. These topics of focus are relevant because that is what we bump up against when we want to make some progress on our journey. They are part of the journey.
