It is important to do it right. Right? Who wants to be wrong? We want, I suppose, that we want to be “good” people. Right? I mean Bad is … well, Bad. If we are to evolve ourselves spiritually, it is important to do things right. Is that right? Who gets to decide what is the right right? Both Light and Shadow are the Dance of Love. So, in the beginning, there was Light. LIGHT. The only thing in existence is Light. (Technically it doesn’t “exist,” but that’s another story.) If the only thing that “exists” is Light, well, stop right there. Heaven itself. Ladies and gentlemen we have Heaven. Completely and totally Heaven. Perfect … right? Who the hell would want to leave “Heaven?” Well, God would, and did. Did God screw it all up? I mean HEAVEN damn it! Don’t mess with it if it is perfectly right?…

Your Freedom is very Important to your “Salvation” Untether Your Potentials … So you are on your Spiritual Journey, eh? Where will that take you? Who will you be when you arrive? There is this “you” reading this now. And there is the “prize” you. The you whom you become after your spiritual journey. And what is the difference between those two (of you)? We accumulate karma over many lifetimes. It takes a long time to load up a human psyche. Sure, horrific events, such as fighting in a war, or being a victim of brutality, can load up a lot of karma in our psyche in a single lifetime. But overall, the human psyche can hold a lot of karma. And here we are. For myself, I have been scrubbing my psyche for 25+ years now. And I Love Love Love how my life keeps elevating itself. Even after…

When the Ego runs out of Gas Who’s driving anyway? Imagine, if you will … that you wake up on top of an old-fashioned stagecoach, with the horses running as fast as they can. You are on a horrible bumpy dirt road. The stagecoach is bouncing all over the road. The road narrows with cliffs on either side. Holy crap! One wrong move … and it’s all over (the cliff). Oh, the peril! Egos like drama … ;- ) So you wake up, thinking that you just might not survive this perilous scene. You grab the reins, and try to bring it all under your control. (Can you see where this (stagecoach) is going? ;- ) When we talk about our spiritual journey, we are talking about the evolution of our own consciousness. At one end of said journey, we are our egos. Flat out. Where there aren’t any thoughts that…

You have your BEST future within you now What is it going to be? … so … what do you want? Can you (at least) start to answer that right away? Do you know what you want? Is it clear to you? If you can, bravo! If you drew a blank, with no real answer, well then, it will be hard to know in which direction to go. Heaven and Hell will both be experienced … today. This day. Heaven might look like the Love flowing out of a firstborn’s parents at the moment of birth. Or the first time a grandparent holds their first grandchild. Or perhaps the love of a parent to (finally ;- ) see their only child married, and thus soon to be finally moving out (humor). And hell? Human trafficking, child trafficking, war, rape and the list goes on and on. So, when you paused…

What Narratives are You running? Who do you think you are? You can sprinkle flour on the kitchen floor, to see if you’ve been sleepwalking. But how can you tell where you are really stuck? The thing is, our ego cannot even comprehend the vision our soul has for our life. It’s like, magically, sending someone in the 13th century a hand-held DVD player, with a built-in screen, and the first Star Wars movie ready to play. A 13th century mind couldn’t wrap its head around what it was looking at. Yet, here in the future, we are accustomed to such stories and technologies. No big deal. So, your soul has a similar relationship to who you might become, over the coming years and decades. Your soul, having a metaphorical DVD storyline that is in resonance with your life purpose. And your ego gets to decide if it happens at…

Living in the Joy of Your Life Purpose Your Soul has an Idea for You There is a curious thing that happens, as we load our psyche up with karma. We collapse the notion of our life into smaller and smaller narratives. As we load up our psyche with karma, we literally disconnect from a lot of our intuitive information resources. In other words, we lose more of our ability to intuitively sense our environment and thus choices, and thus our ability to intuitively make (better) choices. There is a pattern of sorts that shows up when we have disconnected from our intuition. As we lose the ability to be more fully intuitive in the moment, we move our decision-making mechanism up into our brains. And our brains, or egos if you will, love patterns. Patterns are predictable. Patterns offer the illusion of safety. Patterns give us the feeling of…

From the Dark, into the Light Reclaiming Your Consciousness When we think of our spiritual journey (back) to enlightenment, it is actually a return to wholeness. Where we connect with energetic elements of energy within our subconscious, feel it, and thus release it. But often, this is the last thing we want to do, at an ego level. Our ego oftentimes prefers to avoid the difficult feelings within ourself. That avoidance tends to promote the accumulation of even more karma into our subconscious. Thus pushing us deeper into the shadow side of being human. We lose our consciousness when we posture or divide ourself. It isn’t that we actually lose our consciousness, per se, but rather, we separate it by pushing it into our subconscious. Thus creating, or adding to, our shadow. In other words, whenever we avoid a feeling, by posturing with it, we are creating karma. If you…

The Power of Zero From the ashes So, we talked in the last blog about your ego being like a charge of static electricity. Like the kind you get when you shuffle your feet across the carpet when the air is dry. In other words, you didn’t have an ago the day you were born. But your Soul, the source of the consciousness your ego “runs” on, was there. Complete with a life-intention and purpose. So, there was zero ego in effect because the ego didn’t exist yet. And one hundred percent Soul consciousness. Then along came your ego.  Time out! …  All bets are off. We always have the opportunity to live 100% in our heads. All narrative(s), all the time. And so many of us do just that. scrolling our way through our online interactions with others. On our phones. In our stories. What if you arrive in…

Paint the Picture You Desire As You Wish There is a momentum of sorts. Living this human experience. We are all having a “normal” experience. Today might seem very familiar. Perhaps just like yesterday. It is at least normal to us. Yet, your normal day and my normal day can be completely different. We are all having our own unique experience(s) of life. Sure, there is a common set of experiences. Laughter is an example of similar experiences. Yet, the Guru and the Maniac live in the “same” world. What are your experiences of your life? Are there repetitive experiences that you don’t like? Perhaps you butt heads with someone at work. Or perhaps you and your spouse spar it out often. Arguing over this or that. Something you might not prefer. Or there is the notion of avoidance. You avoid the butthead at work or avoid arguments with your…

The Evolution of Your Soul Got Soul? So here we are. Well, I mean … I am over “here.” And You are … ??? Well, which “You?” Are you evolving your sense of Self? It is quite common for folks to have a list of identities, ready to dispense them as soon as they meet someone who asks them, “Tell me about yourself.” “Well, I work in the TV industry as an engineer. I have three kids and a grandchild. I design computer and electronic circuits, etc.” What would your list be? And indeed, you are correct. All well-defined and established. Nice. This is the identity of your ego. But then there is your Soul. When it comes to evolution, anyone standing still, is moving backwards. In other words, if you are not evolving your sense of Self, then you are staying in the past. It is not like we…

Moving through Your Karma Karma, like gravity, is impersonal Karma is a curious thing. If we were to try to pin down just what karma is, we might take a look at the mind/ego, and its relationship with emotions. Certainly this is not the totality of how we experience karma, but I would say this is the lion’s share. So many people go through their life and never consider what they are doing, karmically. We can take on habits, often at a very early age, that sets us up for accumulating more and more karma as we go through our life. Patterns that we often pick up from our parents. For myself, I had a very strong habit of avoiding the emotion of anger. So I would subconsciously avoid it at all cost. I believe my health would be considerably worse had I not connected with my subconscious anger, and…
