You Decide It All You are the sole creator of your experience OK. So no. You, yourself, can’t put another three or four suns in the sky. OK, so no, you can’t add another dozen planets to the solar system. So no, you don’t decide it all. Not from the collective perspective. But, absolutely, you do decide it all when it comes to how you experience your “reality.” Gravity is impersonal. The mechanics of karma are impersonal. The mechanics of emotions are impersonal. The cycle of day and night are impersonal. Time is impersonal, etc. You, it is you, that decides how you experience these things. There is no built-in experience of “reality.” If there were, we would all experience everything the exact same way. It is truly a blessing that we decide it all. Earlier this year I spent seven weeks in the hospital. Five surgeries. Extreme pain for…

Coming Out of the Storm Healing Your Relationship with “Reality” So, how are you doing? How are you holding up in this sea of change? There is a connection, a bonding, of sorts. A karmic connection. A karmic bond, you might say, that connects us with our own “reality.” This connection is completely energetic … at first. Until it is not. We all have our own personal history. We all have our own personal karma. Unique to ourselves. Connecting us to our own personal human experience. This karmic connection is the most impersonal thing imaginable. Our connection to “reality” is a pliable and changeable aspect of ourselves. There are billions of variations of karma playing themselves out on Earth today. In other words, although we all live on the same planet, how we experience it is completely unique to ourselves. It is our karma that decides our experience. But even…

Avoiding Your Emotions Intensifies Them What you resist, become a lesson Got Karma? Perhaps that is too simple a question. How about … What does your karma look like? What kind(s) of karma do you have? What kind(s) of your karma are you not consciously aware of? How is your karma showing up in your day-to-day life? What would your life look like, if you healed the majority of your karma? Is your karma personal? There are very subtle aspects to karma that can keep you stuck for a very long time. Decades. Even lifetimes. I love it when the subtle can show itself. Road rage. Right? I mean, you could meet someone, who is known by others to be a classic example of someone who has road rage often, but when you meet them, they are charming and docile. Like a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. When they, the…

Up is Easier. Down is Harder. Which way are you headed? When we take on karma, we are “Going Down.” Not in value or worth. But in, perhaps, difficulties in our life. Perhaps you can imagine a war vet, loaded with PTSD, panhandling at the corner. Life, for him, is hard. Trying to get through the hour, or maybe even trying to get through the minutes. When we take on karma, we create a momentum of sorts. You might say a narrower karmic trajectory. Where “more of the same” is the name of the game. If we are souls, which we are, that have come here to learn and experience, which we have, “going down” is stepping into more difficult lessons for ourselves. In other words, when a soul incarnates into a challenging lifetime, very often that soul takes on more karma. Moving their overall vibration down. Or lower in…

Your Answers are Within You now Karma itself is not personal You are metaphorically standing in front of a mirror. You are the creator of your reflection. You are the creator of your life experience. If you are bumping up against struggle or resistance in your life, your emotions will reflect where you are stuck. In other words, our emotions are created when our beliefs, attitudes and values bump up against “reality.” They are a report card of sorts. Your emotions evolve, or don’t evolve, as you grow or evolve, or don’t grow or evolve yourself. We take on a sense of self as we live our lives. This “sense of self” is set up in our mind/ego. If I ask you “who are you?” it would be your ego that responds. Yet, before your ego existed, you were, and always are, a soul identity as well. When we look…

Don’t Blame the Mirror Look at Your Reflection The world you experience “out there” is a perfect reflection of You. This simple idea can be a measuring stick for who you really are. Are you wealthy fiscally? Or not so much. Are you healthy? Or not so much. Are you happy? Or not so much. Are you … you get the idea. But keep in mind, what you are seeing, being reflected back to you, might have been “put” there within you a very long time ago. Did you inherit a genetic disorder? Does your family lineage have a long history of poverty? Are you a mirror image of your family lineage? Maybe and maybe not. The human psyche is extremely programmable. Imagine if you will, just for conversation sake, that you were switched at birth. Just a general example to illustrate how the environment in which you were raised…

Don’t Blame the Teacher What you see is your reflection Do you have difficult people in your life? Those people who can really get you upset? Or, perhaps, are just an irritant? Perfect. You could call them your teachers. This might be one of those times where the problem is actually part of the solution. I know I had such a problem. I am that I am. Seems like a simple statement. “I Am That I Am” is what God told Moses, speaking through the Burning Bush. Well, that doesn’t solve any of my problems. I am that I am. What am I supposed to do with that? When you stand in front of a mirror and, looking at the image of yourself in the mirror, you see that your hair is all messed up … do you take your comb and try to straighten the hair in the reflection?…

Riding the Waves of Consciousness Taking it all in We can all feel it. Change at a massive level. Perhaps some of the most turbulent times in which to live. In our history, as a planet, we haven’t had a global shift of change like we have now. These are unique times compared to our past. After 2020 we all started having a much more global narrative play out. Creating huge waves of change all over the world. How are you doing? Are you navigating your way through the karmic tsunami? Are you playing it safe or are you even fueling the flames of change? We all want heaven. Well, maybe not all of us. Well, maybe not even that many. Heaven, as an intention or destination, isn’t on that many people’s minds. At least that I know of. But making more money, owning the fabulous home or car or…

The Pain and the Pleasure Two sides of the same coin Heaven and hell are here now. Someone somewhere is experiencing tremendous pain and suffering. Through war, trafficking, domestic violence or any other of the ways humanity tortures itself. Hell personified. Likewise, babies are being born. First-time parents are holding a miracle in their arms. People are getting back on their feet after perhaps many struggles and challenges. The idea that a single mom, perhaps living out of her car, with her children, finally gets a place of her own. She walks into her new place and closes the door. She has a safe haven for herself and her children perhaps for the first time in a long time. Flavors of heaven. What have you felt? What is the range of emotions you have felt for perhaps the last three months? Have you felt heaven? Have you felt hell? Or…

No one is holding you back It’s all You! As you are the creator of your human experience, you are never stuck. We live in an impersonal arena of creation. Gravity is impersonal. Electricity is impersonal. Karma is impersonal. Emotions are an impersonal mechanism we are all experiencing. The whole arena we are experiencing is an impersonal opportunity for ourselves. The life outside of us is a reflection of our own persona. Period. We decide it all. I think what throws us off, is just how deep our imprinting is. We have accumulated countless belief systems, attitudes, preferences and such over many lifetimes. Since we are born into this life with an established set of karmic stigmas from our past, we don’t ever experience ourselves without those stigmas. Our “normal” day-to-day experience is metaphorically riding on top of our accumulated karmic stigmas from our past. We can go our whole life…

You didn’t do it Wrong Karma takes it upon itself Karma, by its very nature, removes you from your “truth” or “power.” In other words, as you “take on” more and more karma, you are separating from your own power. We can think of karma as a method or mechanism that humans have that loads up our psyche with an illusion of sorts. Not only does karma collapse our choices of each moment, but it can also get us to prefer a particular way of living, even though that “particular way” of living doesn’t support us. What I mean by that is as we take on more karma, we are loading up our psyche with feelings and memories that can be very challenging for us. We can have a preference for avoiding our karma. A common example of this is addictions. Addictions come in many flavors. People can become addicted…
