Please join us and our guest, Jeffrey Schmitt PhD, for a show on All of My Relations (AoMR). AoMR is a one-of-a-kind web platform aimed at ending tobacco dependence. The founder, Dr. Jeff Schmitt, one of the world’s most highly respected experts in the neuropharmacology and ethnobotany of tobacco, has developed a new model for treating tobacco dependence based on native principles of healing, self-awareness and accountability.
The program lasts for six months. The AoMR philosophy is that unhealthy relationships (addiction, dependence) are symptoms; they are the result of deeper causes, and so AoMR will help people develop new skills and insight into themselves. AoMR is a program that dares people to grow, something that doesn’t happen overnight.
Jeffrey Schmitt, PhD is a 40-year veteran scientist, entrepreneur with over 100 publications and patents to his name. As a social entrepreneur he has helped start five companies, one of which went public in 2002. He has given nearly 200 invited presentations (including a TEDx talk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSKAObhwdp8 and keynote at the Global Philosophy Forum) over the past 25 years. As a university professor, he taught advanced undergraduate, graduate-level and interdisciplinary courses at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
Jeff has enjoyed a decades-long relationship with the sacred healing plant, tobacco.
